Overseas Build Notes is a small editorial site for people considering a new build or off-plan purchase outside their home country. We write about process, costs, contracts, financing and risk, and we try to be plain about what we cannot verify, including marketing figures that nobody publishes sources for. We point to official sources where we state a rule, and we mark claims taken from a developer or catalogue as that party’s own statement. Examples throughout draw on the project catalogue at Off Plan Properties, which we find useful for comparing markets, though it is only one source among several you should consult.
